Abbreviations and Designations

Usage Rules
  • Use only generally accepted symbols and abbreviations
  • When frequently using phrases, their abbreviation in the form of acronym is allowed
  • Acronym is given in parentheses at first mention
  • Abbreviations in the title can be used only in exceptional cases
  • All physical quantities are expressed in International System (SI) units
  • Only international non-proprietary names of medicinal products are allowed to be mentioned

Formatting
  • Formatted according to Vancouver style requirements
  • Provide reference list in English transliteration
  • Reference numbering is given according to citation order in the text
  • Serial numbers of references are given in square brackets (for example: [1, 2], or [1-4], or [3, 5-8])
Citation Requirements
  • In original articles, it is recommended to cite at least 15 and no more than 30 sources
  • In literature reviews - no more than 50
  • References to abstracts, dissertations, theses and articles in scientific collections, educational and methodological works are not allowed in articles
  • References to regulatory documents should be given as footnotes, without including them in the reference list
